Stereo
Investigator is an advanced scientific
software for performing design
based stereology. Stereo Investigator
can be used with live images from
video and digital cameras; through
the microscope oculars using our
patented Lucivid; or with stored
image sets from light and confocal
microscopes, electron microscopes,
and scanning tomographic sources.
The
Virtual Slice Module is a plug-in
extension for the Neurolucida
and Stereo Investigator software
that provides the additional capability
of creating extremely high-resolution
montages composed of images obtained
from multiple microscopic fields-of-view.
The
Solid Modeling Module is a plug-in
extension for Neurolucida's NeuroExplorer
program that brings advanced 3D
solid modeling graphics capabilities
to neuroscientists.
The
Confocal Module, a plug-in extension
to the Neurolucida and Stereo
Investigator programs, can read
confocal image files in the Biorad
PIC format, Olympus Fluoview format,
as well as image stacks comprised
of a series of TIFF, JPEG, or
BMP files.
We
create virtual slides by capturing
complete microscopic specimens
at very high magnifications. Our
innovative software can be used
to dynamically view these virtual
slides, either locally, on an
intranet, or over the Internet...transforming
a computer into a virtual microscope.
